It seems like there's always a last minute gift exchange popping up just when you think you're all done with your Christmas shopping. It can be difficult to purchase a gift for a child you don't even know, or even more difficult when you don't even know what child will be receiving the gift.
What toys make the best gift for a child's gift exchange? Since most gift exchanges are under $20, I'm focusing on gifts that fall into that price range. You can also use these general ideas to find even lower dollar gifts if you're looking for gift ideas in the $10, or $5 price range.
Top kid's gift for an exchange~ Pick out a fun board or hand held game. Games are always in style, you can't go wrong with a board game or even a small electronic game.
Gift idea for a toy exchange number 2~ Something that lets kids use their imagination or explore their creativity. Most kids love to work on crafts, or draw and create. There are several really cool art and creative kits out there these days. Some of my favorites are by Crayola, and most of them are under $20.
Girl's gift for an exchange~ If you're looking for a gift idea for a girl, dolls or plush are a good choice. Doll accessories like doll carriers or furniture are also popular choices for young girls.
Boy's toy gift idea~ Most boys love anything with wheels. Tech Deck is very popular with the boys right now. You can't go wrong with the mini skateboards themselves, or one of the accessories to go with them.
