Alternatives to kindergarten - Five proposals for the construction of social skills

The nursery is always closer to my daughter and I'm always answering questions that attend preschool. The answer is no, and most parents are just asking, but some have the need for a solid dialogue with me as a preschool felt helps with socialization skills. I am not opposed to the pre-school age, I prefer to continue to teach my daughter to nursery school to begin the adventure home to.

I agree that the provision of preschool childrenChildren the opportunity to many abilities, some of which are very important in developing social skills. However, this talk had me thinking of other non-school opportunities for socialization, will be available in your community. As social skills best taught using real life situations, I have listed some alternatives for kindergarten, which are to develop or improve your child's social skills:

1. Gymnastics / Tumble class. These lessons are structured to teach childrento work as a team, sitting quietly in a circle and watch, waiting their turn to learn new physical skills, follow the instructions to make offers on others and to exercise that our children need. Not only does the child develop social skills within their age group, but their self-esteem grows week after week, as something to master the techniques of gymnastics and tumbling complicated. Make sure the car is a class so patient, encouraging and enthusiastic when working withThe children and the child will grow into a confident human social, in a short time.

2. Gymboree Play and Music courses. Yes, the clothing store. The company operates an Early Childhood Education Division, Gymboree centers in the United States. The programs include classes such as music and art, and centers offer a two-hour class designed specifically for the skills of school 3-5 years. The center offers a free class for each course is offered, parents can preview a classbefore making a monthly plan. Parents are invited to stand by and watch or leave their child in class from their own experience.

3. Discovery Center. If these centers are available in your area, use them if you can. Discovery Center can offer 2 hours of lessons a week camps for children of preschool age. Children learn to be offered on science, practical experience, like working with clay, learning, texture, art, music, etc. ready for somebearings is necessary to leave the baby with the teacher, but remember that this exercise is to help your child develop social skills.

4. Art Museums. Many museums offer Story Time, camps, children's club and kid's camps, where the real fun begins. Children have a hands-on experience with other children their age in art, craft, plaster, texture, etc. You learn to follow instructions, alternately and together they produced art. Make sure you stand back and let your childLearn to respond to the teachers and his path to an unknown group of children.

5. Your local zoo. Check your local zoo for the classes of related children. Some zoos have a baby yoga classes, art classes and child classes with art and crafts, story time, and the opportunity to touch and learn about animals in the zoo to select. Child classes taught mostly children seated in a circle, not to learn, raise their hands to participate and to listen and follow instructionsauthorized project.

Whether you select a pre-school at home or keep the baby until it's time for kindergarten, there are options for teaching them important social skills. Do your research and look for opportunities that expose them as much as possible. Yes, sometimes that means standing back and let them know their own way, but every small step that will make a great leap to conscious beings we all want, our childrenbe.
